Cyber High

Our school website has been updated. Can you believe it? After all that time of looking at the latest information of 2003, we finally get some actuall changes that's not just the Javascript clock in the corner, and a mention of someone named Catherine Halloway on the student council.

First day of School 2005

Not much to say about my first day of grade twelve. The first issue of the paper was distributed in an efficient manner, and once again my schedule has been messed up.
The remarkable changes in school are the fact that it has been renovated again and that the cafeteria has made its menu healthier so that there are no longer chips and pop. While this may not have changed my classmate's eating habits, since they just drive to Mickey D's to get their fix of fries, it has made the cafeteria a lot less crowded and easier to get around.

The Last Day Of Summer Vacation

As teenage moodswings go, my angst from the past entry is now almost all gone because my driving instructor has told me that my driving skills are actually improving, and I'm finally finished with the first issue of
The Gillis Gazette
which will be distributed to all of the ninth graders in homeroom tomorrow.
And, as the title suggests, this was the last day of summer. In a few hours I start my LAST YEAR in the elementary Canadian School system.

Stuck inbetween Boredom and Insanity

Over the past few days I have been occupied by these three things:
1) an article on the physics of stone skipping which has been existing as a rough draft in Microsoft Word for almost a week now because I fear trying to explain things I don't quite grasp in greater detail.
2) the first issue of the newspaper, which isn't getting finished although it should already be sent in to Mr. Farrell to be approved because not all the student council members have sent me their material and many of those who have can't write their way out of a paper bag so that I am the only person to stop themselves from proverbially shooting themselves in their feet with their writing.
3) how my driving isn't getting that much better and now my instructor wants me to help him with his website and advertise his business in The Gillis Gazette.
I suppose you could say that it's a good thing I don't have any more projects on my mind, but in a way it's a mixed blessing. These three things have room to fall and bounce around in my head because of the lack of clutter caused by my boredom.
So I guess that means I should be glad that school starts in three days.
