Hello there and welcome to the home of the USS Ranger, a Defiant Class Starfleet vessel.
For a few years now, a group of people from around the world have enjoyed an interactive fiction writing experience that is set in the post-Dominion War Star Trek Universe, called Far Point Fleet. Once you've joined, you can create your character and jump into the story!
You can write for a character in any of the departments you've seen on the TV shows and movies, get promoted, and perhaps one day, “command” your own ship.
Our group is interactive, in and out of character. That means we all use a Yahoo group to follow a general story plot and direction. With all of us moving the plotline of the story in our own way. Outside of the story we have a different group that we use for discussing the story, making suggestions, and just getting to know each other as writers.
